Speaking of the lateness, though, it made me realize that I can't handle a monthly schedule. Also, the individual story plots end up being razor thin. Therefore, starting next year, the series will no longer be monthly. Each issue will come up whenever I have enough story. Of course, each story will still cover the amount of time that has gone by since the previous story. I think this will make the series' quality higher, and it will allow me a lot more free time to work on two major fanfic projects that I'm planning to do.

This site is 1 year old today! Whoo-hoo! The theme of this special update is Helen Slater's TV guest appearances. I added links to boxed sets containing many of Helen's TV guest appearances, including "Seinfeld - Season 3", "Batman - The Animated Series, Volume Three" (3 episodes with Helen!), "Will & Grace - Season Four", and "Law & Order Special Victims Unit - The Fifth Year", on the Merchandise page. For those of you insane enough to buy an entire season's boxed set for 1 episode, here ya go. You could check a well-stocked rental store, too.

I updated the Introduction to reflect that Supergirl has now been around for 46 years and changed the note on how the animated Supergirl's name is pronounced.
Issue 3 of "Linda Danvers: Birds of Prey" won't be up until August 31. Let me explain my reasoning. This is a 5-issue miniseries. The reason that it's 5 issues instead of the usual 6 issues is to allow Linda's fictional "Supergirl" comic book series to catch up in number of issues to my fanfic series. That will happen at the end of this year with the 29th issue. I was originally planning for issues 1 and 5 to cover 3 months each and issues 2, 3, and 4 to cover 2 months each. Since I'm running behind (been dealing with thunderstorms and trying to find a new job), I've decided to have issue 3 cover 3 months instead, and issues 4 and 5 will cover 2 months each. So, issue 3 should be up on August 31. Maybe.

The rumor of Melissa George being cast as Supergirl in an upcoming movie is completely false. There are no new casting rumors at that time.

I added issue 1 of "Linda Danvers: Bird of Prey", "Linda's Passions". This is the fist issue of this miniseries. I'm sorry that it's late, but I needed some lines translated into Japanese, and I couldn't get all of the translations until Wednesday, April 6. Also, I've been watching coverage of the Pope's illness and death and attending Masses for him. I then decided to add some extra scenes, and the result is the longest story so far. This story is rated R due to language and sexuality. There is no actual sex, but the acts that are done are something that you'd find in "Wild Things". You have been warned. Enjoy!
I added links to a Supergirl comic hardback, a new Supergirl comic trade paperback, and a new Supergirl DVD on the Merchandise page. The first is "The Supergirl Archives, Volume 1". It collects the earliest stories of the original Supergirl, Kara Zor-El. Warning: the stories are very cheesy and often very bad. Better is "Superman/Batman, Volume 2: Supergirl". It features the return/reintroduction/reimagining/whatever of Kara Zor-El as Supergirl! Finally, there's the first "Justice League Unlimited" DVD, "Saving the World". It collects 3 episodes of the new animated series, and the first episode features the animated Supergirl, Kara In-Ze!

As it was last month, the theme for this month is clothes. I added links to a Women's Supergirl Muscle-Tee Pajama Set (on Amazon) and a Supergirl T-Shirt featuring Michael Turner's artwork of the post-Crisis Kara Zor-El from the front cover of Superman/Batman #13 (on Boise River Collectibles) on the Merchandise page. Thanks to Chris for informing me about the latter. A good place to show off your Supergirl clothes once you get them is the Supergirl Models page. Hint, hint.

I added issue 6 of "Linda Danvers: Pretty Virgin Guardian", "Linda's Present". This is the final issue of this miniseries. I'm sorry that it's late, but I needed some lines translated into a foreign language, and I couldn't get all of the translations until Saturday, January 1. I then decided to add some extra scenes, so I'm putting it up today.
The series will take a break and will return in late March with a new, 5-part miniseries.
The theme for merchandise this month is clothes! I've added links to every piece of Supergirl clothing that Amazon offers. There are 2 Supergirl costumes, a Supergirl pink knit hat, a Supergirl screen tee, a Supergirl black junior-sized sun visor, a Supergirl distressed flocked ringer, a Supergirl youth black knit cap, a Supergirl denim with nailhead trim junior cap, and a Supergirl black visor. I got back from Chicago on Monday. I'm sorry that I haven't updated until now, but I didn't have enough time on that day, and I had a problem getting on the Internet from Tuesday until a few hours ago.

I was able to work on issue 5 of "Linda Danvers: Pretty Virgin Guardian" while in Chicago. It should still be put online on Sunday, October 31. Of course, it might not be. Check back on that day to find out.

First, I have an important announcement. I'll be visiting some of my relatives in Chicago from Saturday, October 16, to Monday, October 25. This may or may not affect my planned release date of Sunday, October 31, of issue 5 of "Linda Danvers: Pretty Virgin Guardian". Things to consider are whether I'll be able to write in Chicago or not and whether either of the airplanes crash or not. I should be back on Monday the 25th. Check back for an update on that day.
As for today's updates, the first Supergirl model pictures are up. They're of me wearing my new Supergirl sneakers. I haven't received any submissions of pictures. If you have any Supergirl clothes, feel free to share pictures of you wearing them.
Second, I've put up a Supergirl Movie Developments page. There's some Warner Bros. insider information that I got off of Cinescape.com.

The site now has graphics! Well, a graphic. I made up a banner, and it's now on every page, including the main page and the Introduction page. I've also decided to make use of a script font to give the page a bit of a feminine touch. Please tell me what you think of them!

Well, last night, when I set up the counter for issue 07, I didn't receive the e-mail with the code to add. I tried to delete the counter this morning and recreate it, but I couldn't. Since I get the codes for all of the counters every time I add a new counter, I decided to create a counter for issue 08, hoping to get the code for the counter for issue 07 as well. I didn't receive an e-mail. Then I noticed something: Hotmail had placed the 2 e-mails in my Junk E-mail folder! Argh! Anyway, since I had already created the counter for issue 08, I decided to put issue 08 up as well today, so enjoy 2 issues of "Linda Danvers"!
